What's leaving Netflix UK in December 2023?

Netflix is making another big change to its streaming platform in December as several films and shows from its content library are about to be removed.

The streamer makes room for new content by taking off a plethora of old products each month, meaning subscribers better be quick if they want to catch them before they leave for good.

What is leaving Netflix UK in December 2023?

Netflix is removing a staggering 103 films and shows from it in December 2023, some of which includes originals that may not have another streamer to go to once it is removed.

The first day of the month will see the most content be removed, with 34 titles leaving the platform including family favourites Stuart Little and its sequel, other high profile films being removed include Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Sausage Party and Stand By Me.

Parents may be sad to learn that the ever popular Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is also being taken off of the platform from 2 December, while Vin Diesel's film Riddick is being removed on 6 December.

Guillermo Del Toro's masterpiece Pan's Labyrinth will be removed from Netflix on 9 December, while 2014 film Godzilla is being taken off on 5 December — it is not clear where these films will go next.

Henry Cavill's debut as Superman came in 2013 with Man of Steel, and this film is also one of the big releases being removed from Netflix —it will be taken off on 2 December.

Netflix Originals aren't safe from the purge, as Hymn of Death, Zumbo’s Just Desserts, Twice Upon A Time, and Nightflyers are being removed over the course of December.
