The Guardians of the Galaxy actor took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday (April 19) to share images of the painful ankle injury, which occurred on the set of his upcoming thriller Mercy.
One snap showed the swelling in Pratt's ankle, while the other featured the actor elevating his leg in his dressing room.
The post read: "Mercy filming day 4. I have such a great stunt team! AND I sometimes try to get in there and do some of my own stuff.

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov and written by Marco van Belle, the sci-fi film is set in the near future and will see Pratt play a detective.
According to the film's synopsis, Pratt's currently unnamed character "finds himself accused of a violent crime and having to prove his innocence in a society where capital crime is on the rise" (via Deadline).
As well as Pratt, Mercy will also star Dune's Rebecca Ferguson. As the film is still in the early stages of production, details of her character have yet to be revealed – though it's likely she'll play a key role in the action.
