Fast X: All the best Easter eggs and cameos (spoilers)
The Fast and Furious family are back for another action-packed adventure
The Fast and Furious franchise has always been about one thing: family. So viewers will be delighted to know that Fast X is embracing this notion wholeheartedly.
Fast X is the first of a two-part conclusion, and it sees Dominic “Dom” Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew face their most ruthless enemy yet, Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa). Dante is the son of Fast Five’s antagonist Hernan, and now, ten years later, he will have his revenge.

The film features a number of nods to the franchise’s history and also sees a number of familiar faces make a welcome return.
Here is everything that you need to know about the film's big surprises as Fast X becomes available to rent or buy at home on digital.
Every cameo in Fast X
Look away now if you don’t want to have the many cameos in Fast X spoiled, because there are a number of actors who make a surprise appearance in the film. Okay, now that is out of the way let’s break down who returned to the Fast saga.
Meadow Walker
It was revealed ahead of the film’s release that Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, would be making a cameo in Fast X.
The model was keen to honour her late father by appearing in the franchise, and she does so by playing a flight attendant who assists John Cena’s Jakob Toretto in escaping the plane with Little Brian (Leo Abelo Perry) when they are targeted by The Agency.
Helen Mirren
Helen Mirren’s Magdalene "Queenie" Shaw also makes a brief appearance in the film, but one that will prove important for her son’s future (more on that later).

Queenie comes into the picture in Rome after Dom stops Dante from destroying Vatican City with a giant bomb, though ultimately the whole crew get blamed for the event. Queenie tells Dom that he needs to also look out for himself, and he claims that he does not mind dying if it means protecting the ones that he loves.
Pete Davidson
Pete Davidson makes a surprise appearance when Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris), Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) and Han (Sung Kang) are on the run in London.
Davidson’s character, known by the nickname Bowie, owns a dingy internet cafe that is a front for a black market operation.
Jason Statham
While the gang are in London Han brings them to Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) for help, Shaw famously tried to kill Han before and the two fight it out until they realise they have a common enemy: The Agency.

After letting off some steam, as it were, Shaw shows them to his armoury and garage, where Ramsey reveals that his mum Queenie is a target for Dante. In response, Shaw drives away to stop Dante's hired guns from killing his mother and it feels like he is heading towards his own spin-off (though one hasn’t been announced, yet).
Gal Gadot
No one can ever truly stay dead in the Fast saga, it seems, because the tenth instalment of the franchise ends with Gal Gadot making an appearance as Gisele Yashar.
Gisele appeared to have died in Fast and Furious 6 but somehow she survived, a miraculous event that will no doubt be explored in Fast 11. Perhaps she returned simply because the whole family need to reunite in order to stop Dante.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
The one fans would never have expected. That’s right, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has put aside his differences with Diesel and come back for Fast X, reprising his role as Luke Hobbs despite saying on multiple occasions that he would not return.

Hobbs appears in the film’s post-credit scene, where Dante calls Hobbs and tells him that he will get revenge on him for being the one to kill his father.
Fast X Easter eggs
Since Fast X spells the end of the saga there are a lot of ways in which the film references what came before, giving viewers the opportunity to enjoy several Easter Eggs. Dom’s garage, where he reflects on his Los Bandoleros days with Han, is full of pictures that are scenes from different movies in the franchise, many of which also include his late co-star, Paul Walker.
Other callbacks to previous films are seen when new Agency head Aimes (Alan Ritchson) speaks with Tess (Brie Larson) about the many heists the family has been involved in, and the people they’ve recruited along the way. He even jokes that he doesn’t like barbecues, a nod to the way in which every Fast saga film tends to end.

One of the big moments that viewers will get to see again is the vault heist from Fast Five, which is told from Dante’s perspective in this film. While the post-credit scene from F9 is also shown in the film, revealing how and why Han came to see Deckard in the first place.
In Fast X Dom returns to Rio de Janeiro, where he meets Isabel (Daniela Melchior) who is revealed to be Elena Neves’ sister. Elena (Elsa Pataky) met Dom during the events of Fast Five, and the pair fell in love and had a son, Little Brian. In Fast X Dom saves Isabel’s life, and later they reflect on Elena’s life at Isabel’s apartment, which has a number of pictures of her sister on display.
Fast X is available to buy or rent at home on digital now.
