I Am Legend 2 gets exciting update from Michael B Jordan
I Am Legend 2 has received a promising update from its star Michael B Jordan.
The planned sequel is still in its development phase at the moment, but Jordan reported that work is pressing on and he's "really excited" to get started on the movie, which will once again star Will Smith.
"We're still working on the script and getting that up to par," Jordan told People.

"It doesn't have a release date or anything like that. I'm not sure exactly where we're going to be filming that one, but I'm really excited to get in front of the camera with [Smith]."
Expressing his admiration for his co-star, Jordan added: "Being somebody that I've looked up to for a really long time, to be able to work with Will is something I'm really looking forward to. I'm really excited."
Oscar winner Smith recently told Entertainment Tonight that the pair had recently spent "a couple of weeks together" chiselling away at the project.
"I think it's looking good," he teased, "[we have some] really solid ideas... I think we're going to make it on screen together. That dude is the truth, so I would love to do that."
Adapted from author Richard Matheson's post-apocalyptic 1954 novel of the same name, and directed by The Hunger Games' Francis Lawrence, I Am Legend made $585 million at the box office.

The story centred on Smith's virologist character Dr Robert Neville – who is apparently the last man in New York City. After a devastating virus wipes out most of the population, he must contend with vampiric mutants while trying to develop a cure.
The sequel will ignore the explosive climax to the 2007 blockbuster, which saw Neville sacrificing himself to save others.
However, this was the ending shown in cinemas – an alternate ending closer to the original book's conclusion was attached to the home release where it's revealed he actually survives.
"So we are going with the mythology of the DVD version where my character lived," Smith has previously confirmed.
I Am Legend 2 does not yet have a release date.
