More stars join 'His Dark Materials' voice cast
Poirot legend David Suchet and Peaky Blinders star Helen McCrory have joined the voice cast of the BBC and HBO's star-studded fantasy drama His Dark Materials.
The pair will voice 'dæmons', the animal companions to the human cast, with Suchet playing Kaisa, the gyrfalcon dæmon of witch Serafina Pekkala, while McCrory will voice Stelmaria, the snow leopard daemon of Lord Asriel, played by James McAvoy.

It's also been confirmed that Joe Tandberg, star of Netflix show The Innocents, will voice polar bear warrior Iorek Byrnison.
Elsewhere, child actor Kit Connor, who played the young Elton John in Rocketman, will voice Lyra's dæmon Pantalaimon, while Cristela Alonzo will play Hester, the hare dæmon of aeronaut Lee Scoresby.
They join a dazzling cast, including Ruth Wilson, Clarke Peters, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anne-Marie Duff, James Cosmo, Ariyon Bakare and Andrew Scott.
The series is adapted from Philip Pullman's revered fantasy trilogy, made up of the novels Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass.
Based in an alternate parallel world, it finds a young girl, Lyra (played by Logan's Dafne Keen), at the centre of an ancient prophesy as a series of kidnappings shock the city of Oxford.
The first book was made into a movie starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman in 2007, but after it failed to light up the box office, the trilogy ended there.
The show premieres this Autumn.
