Marvel 'in talks' with Keanu Reeves to join Angelina Jolie-led 'The Eternals' movie
The Eternals already has an impressive line-up of stars signed up and Keanu Reeves could soon be the latest.
The John Wick star is reportedly in negotiations to appear in Marvel’s new movie which centres on a group of immortal beings who possess god-like abilities having been created by cosmic deities the Celestials.
According to MCU Cosmic the talks are still early for Reeves and Marvel but a foray into the superhero genre would be a long time coming for the action her known for his roles in Speed, The Matrix franchise and, of course, John Wick.
The actor would be joining the likes of Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden (Bodyguard) for the film to be directed by Chloe Zhao (The Rider) and written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

It is believed that Jolie will play the character Sersi, one of the Eternals the movie is set to be based around. Ikaris is the other character to take a central role which Madden has been reportedly lined-up to play.
Korean actor Ma Dong-seok (Train to Busan) is also set to join the cast as well Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick).
Reeves had been lined up to play Yonn-Rogg in Captain Marvel but scheduling conflicts prevented him from doing so and Jude Law was cast instead. In the past, he has played DC Comics character Constantine in the film of the same name.
Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, confirmed that work had already begun on the film as well as several other post-Infinity Saga projects.

“We have started working on what are the films post-phase 3,” Feige previously told TheWrap.
The Eternals were created by Jack Kirby and made their first Marvel Comics appearance in 1976. Neil Gaiman also did a run with the god-like heroes in the 2000s too.
As well as the Eternals, the Celestials also created a more evil off-shoot called the Deviants and they will also appear in the new movie.
Filming was originally set to begin in August in Atlanta, where most of the Marvel films have been shot is now going to be taking place in London from September 2019 until January 2020.
