'Last Christmas' cruises to $100 million despite some terrible reviews
Last Christmas is proving to be an unlikely seasonal hit, hitting $100 million - £74.7 million - at the box office.
This comes despite some pretty horrifying reviews for the Paul Feig-directed rom-com, which stars Game of Thones' Emilia Clarke and is based on the lyrics of George Michael's song of the same name.

The Evening Standard called it 'patronising, illogical and silly', Variety called it 'twee, precious and forced', Metro called it 'creepy and wrong', while the Sunday Times added that it is 'designed for people who think Love Actually needed a bit more whimsy'.
Rolling Stone called it 'monumentally bad... the kind of bad that falls somewhere between finding a lump of coal in your stocking and discovering one painfully lodged in your rectum’.
That said, The Times found it to be 'satistying as a plumb pudding', so it wasn't all bad.
But defying such derision, it's still sitting at number three in the UK chart, behind star-studded murder mystery Knives Out and Frozen II, having made £12.5 million in the UK alone.
It's made an additional $34.4 million in the UD, and $66.5 million worldwide, meaning that after costs of $25 million plus marketing and advertising are recouped, it will be a decently profitable project.
It finds Clarke's Christmas shop worker falling in love with Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding's mysterious do-gooder.
Also starring Emma Thompson, Michelle Yeoh, Rob Delaney, Sue Perkins and featuring a cameo from Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley, it's out now across the UK.
