Kevin Smith thinks 'Avengers: Endgame' will be as important as the bible to future generations
Kevin Smith might have liked Avengers: Endgame more than anyone else in the world.
Who else, for example, would say that it was so significant that in the future, our descendants will view it in the same way that they view the Bible.
Yes, that Bible.
Tweeting, the Jay and Silent Bob creator said: “Religions have been founded on the Bible, resulting in millions of people deriving inspiration and moral strength from amazing stories about fantastic feats of faith.
“Hundreds of years from now, our descendants will find divine inspiration from the story of Cap wielding Mjolnir.”

Let's not get him started on Star Wars, or Shakespeare's future might be in peril too.
Smith has been effusive on the final chapter in Marvel's 'phase three' in the past, often tweeting about certain scenes after yet another re-watch.
SPOILERS! 12th home viewing of @Avengers. Hulk couldn’t have done the Snap himself; it had to be Professor Hulk. And because it was that Hulk, we got this well-crafted, finely-acted moment. I love how he closes his eyes, realizing his whole life has been leading to this moment... pic.twitter.com/xXsx1bfLTo

SPOILERS! Watched @Avengers twice today. Out of everyone who fought Thanos, Wanda came closest to killing him. If he didn’t call for the “Rain fire!” then the Scarlet Witch would have butchered the Mad Titan. (Even though I turn 49 on Friday, shit like this still matters to me.) pic.twitter.com/PFTZiOYJbL

He was also among those lobbying for the movie to get a nomination for Best Screenplay at the Oscars last year.
SPOILERS! 3rd time seeing @Avengers at home. Tony running into Howard is my favorite scene. And this exchange paves the way for Tony’s last stand. The movie deserves a Best Screenplay nomination for this moment alone. Tony finally learns to lay down on the wire - thanks to Dad.😭 pic.twitter.com/PcfMGI4GWX

As for Infinity War, he claimed to have watched that movie 53 times in all.
He told We Got This Covered: “We had a premiere party last night where I got to, it’s made by the Russo Brothers right, they produced it, so I got to meet Anthony Russo and f**king just blew him about these movies.
“I was like ‘bro, I’ve seen Infinity War 53 times…like, and it just keeps getting better’. I was just like Beetlejuice.”
