Keanu Reeves has a great answer for whether John Wick or Neo would win in a fight
It’s the question Keanu Reeves fans have been asking themselves for years — who would win in a fight between John Wick and Neo from The Matrix?
Well, Stephen Colbert put the question to Reeves himself in an interview to promote the actor’s return to another of his most memorable roles with Bill and Ted Face the Music.

Reeves’s answer was simply that the two characters “wouldn’t fight”, but he had a suggestion for how they could cross paths.
“They wouldn't fight," he repeated. "But maybe John Wick would try and help Thomas Anderson out in the real world. Maybe against the machines.”
Colbert promptly suggested that John helping Neo out was now canon in both franchises.
Reeves is currently in Berlin filming The Matrix 4, which was delayed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Once he has completed his commitments on that project, he will move on to the John Wick franchise again.
Lionsgate is hoping to take advantage of the gap in Reeves’s busy schedule and will shoot the fourth and fifth John Wick movies back to back early next year.

Wick is now notoriously deadly, but director Chad Stahelski revealed this week that the assassin known as Baba Yaga was previously “much more contained” in the first movie.
Stahelski said only three people died in the initial draft of the script, as opposed to the roughly 80 characters who meet their maker in the finished film.
While he has action-heavy roles in his immediate future, Reeves is returning to his comic roots with Bill and Ted Face the Music.
The new movie revisits Reeves’s Ted and his buddy Bill — again played by Alex Winter — as struggling middle-aged fathers who have still yet to write the song that will save the world.

Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine are also introduced as the daughters of Bill and Ted respectively.
Bill and Ted Face the Music will be released in the USA on demand and in cinemas from 28 August, with the UK release due on 23 September.
