Kate Mara Would Return For Fantastic Four Sequel
It looks as though Kate Mara still wants a ‘Fantastic Four’ sequel.
During an interview with IGN, the 33-year-old actress revealed that she would still be interested in returning as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman) in a ‘Fantastic Four’ sequel.
“Oh yeah, I’d love to be a part of a Fantastic Four sequel or whatever they may or may not have in store for us,” she said. “And I know all the guys feel the same way.”

“We loved working with each other and we would love to actually play these characters in another way, somehow, in the future,” she added. “I have no idea if that’s actually true, if that will happen, but I’d be really happy to do it.”
But would the fans be happy to see it?
‘Fantastic Four’ was plagued with problems throughout production… and with reports of an erratic director and late rewrites/reshoots, it looked as though the latest ‘Fantastic Four’ film was doomed from the start.
Made on a budget of $120 million, ‘Fantastic Four’ made a paltry $168 million at the box office… and more importantly, it failed to reignite passion for the faltering franchise.
But despite terrible reviews and an awful response from the fans, co-star Miles Teller also recently claimed that he too would return for a sequel.
“Yeah, for sure,” he told JoBlo. “I loved the cast, I loved the characters. I think it’s such an interesting dynamic. I love how much they really need to rely on each other. This Avengers thing, they’ve kind of created their own Fantastic Four in a way, Marvel’s first family. Their powers can’t just exist on their own, you need Thor to do this, the Hulk to do his thing. So yeah, absolutely, I would do another one.”
Whether or not they’ll get to return as the Fantastic Four remains to be seen.
But surely 20th Century Fox will try again sooner or later?
‘Fantastic Four’ appeared in cinemas on 6 August 2015.
