Hugh Jackman teases 'angrier' Wolverine in 'Deadpool 3'
Hugh Jackman has teased fans that they will be getting a slightly different Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
After being announced to reprise the role for the upcoming Deadpool sequel, Jackman has opened up to AP Entertainment about Wolverine's characterisation in the film.
He said: "There's no choice. He's definitely angrier, sort of grumpy, and he's gonna take a lot of free shots at Ryan Reynolds. Physically, that is."

Jackman had previously said he was retiring from the role after 2017's Logan but the prospect of Deadpool 3 was too much to resist: "It's been five years and I'd really never thought I'd come back and I'm really, really excited about it."
He also revealed that he was already in training to play the superhero: "I'm going to have the time of my life. I can tell you that I started back at the gym and I'm eating a lot — and I feel bad for the cast of The Music Man for how many protein shakes I'm having — but it's a lot of fun."
Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, has been vocal in wanting Jackman to return as Wolverine after they previously starred together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine which was a disappointment for many fans.
Jackman recently said of the moment he told Reynolds he was going to play Wolverine again: "I think, actually, he’d given up. I think it was a big shock to him.
"There was a massive pause, and then he said, ‘I can’t believe the timing of this'."
Jackman originally played Wolverine in the 2000 film X-Men after original star Dougray Scott was forced to drop out due to scheduling issues with Mission: Impossible 2.
Since then, Jackman has played the clawed superhero nine times including cameos.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on 6 September, 2024.
