1987's Hellraiser, 1988's Hellbound: Hellraiser II, 1992's Hellraiser III: Hell of Earth, and 1996's Hellraiser: Bloodline have been remastered in 4K from the original camera negatives and collected together for a stunning new box set, full of special features, which is being released on 23 October, 2023. The films will also be streaming on Arrow.
To celebrate this collection and brand new restorations, a new trailer has been made and we're thrilled to share it exclusively above. Watch it if you dare.
In 1987, acclaimed author Clive Barker made his directorial debut, adapting his novella The Hellbound Heart as Hellraiser, and introducing the world to a new vision of hell.
The horror series — with Doug Bradley's Pinhead as the series' chief tormentor — would go on to spawn a franchise, with eleven films, countless books, comics and more released under the Hellraiser name.
The series focusses on a mysterious puzzle box — the Lament Configuration — which, when solved, opens a portal to a Hell-like realm, inhabited by the Cenobites: terrifying creatures who harvest human souls to torture.
The special four-disc 4K box set includes:
