Golden Globes 2020 TV nominations announced: 'The Crown' leads the way
The nominations for the Golden Globes 2020 TV categories have been announced and Netflix’s The Crown has tied with Chernobyl and Unbelievable for the most nominations with four apiece.
With its overhauled cast, the third season of Netflix’s royal drama is up for Best Drama Series, while Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, and Helena Bonham Carter will all compete in acting categories.
It faces a tough battle with HBO’s limited series Chernobyl, which recently won ten Emmys, with the real life drama up for Best Limited Series, and acting nods for Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgaard and Emily Watson.
Unbelievable, another true life Netflix miniseries, is also up for Best Limited Series, with stars Kaitlyn Dever, Merritt Weaver and Toni Collette competing for acting awards in January.
