First trailer for Pixar's new mystical comedy 'Onward' brings the elves
The first trailer for Pixar's new movie Onward has landed, and it's heavy on the elves, trolls, goblins and magic sticks.
Set in a modern day 'suburban fantasy' world where such mystical creatures are happily going about their business, the plot centres on two teenage brothers, the Lightfoots (Chris Pratt and Tom Holland).

When they're offered the chance of using special magic to bring back their late dad for just one day, things go slightly awry.
Because the magic is interrupted, they only get half of him. The bottom half. And so, the boys embark on a quest to discover the dad who died when they were too young to remember him.
Hurl in some flying unicorns, 'Hell's Fairies' and yodelling, and you've got Onward, written and directed by Dan Scanlon (who also made Monsters University).
Veep and Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfuss voices the boys' mother Laurel Lightfoot, and there's a so-far undisclosed role for Octavia Spencer too.
It's due out in March, 2020.
