'Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga': Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams star in first trailer
Netflix has released the first trailer for its Eurovision comedy starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams.
They play Icelandic musicians Lars and Sigrit who dream of entering the song competition in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. James Bond star Pierce Brosnan plays Ferrell’s father, despite only being 15 years older than him in real life.
By a quirk of fate, the duo – who go by the name of Fire Saga – become Iceland’s official entry into Eurovision and inevitable hi-jinks ensure.

Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens plays a rival Eurovision contestant, while chat show host Graham Norton also appears as himself as TV’s voice of the competition. It’s been directed by David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers) from a script by Ferrell and Andrew Steele, who writes the popular Cord and Tish Rose Parade spoofs for the Ferrell’s Funny or Die platform.

Synopsis: When aspiring Icelandic musicians Lars (Will Ferrell) and Sigrit (Rachel McAdams) are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world's biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.
Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga launches globally on Netflix on 26 June.
