Edgar Wright shares first photos from ’Last Night In Soho'
Edgar Wright has taken to both Instagram and Twitter to celebrate the start of production on his new movie Last Night In Soho, sharing photos from his first and second days of filming.
But, before you get a chance to check out Wright’s photos from filming, Rachael Prior, who has worked on Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End and Baby Driver, showed off the brand new logo for Last Night In Soho.

Not quite as cool.

But at least Wright followed up this tantalising shot of a 1970’s lampshade with the clapperboard for Last Night In Soho, which confirmed that Chung-hoon Chung, who previously worked on IT and Oldboy, is the cinematographer on the film.

Earlier in the week, Wright had teased the start of production with this simple image.
Then on Friday evening, Wright celebrated the end of his second day of production by showing that filmmaking can be very thirsty work.
Plenty of folks were quick to celebrate Wright’s return behind the camera, including Moon director Duncan Jones and Crazy Rich Asians actor Henry Golding.

The plot details surrounding Last Night In Soho are still very much under wraps.
We do know that it stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Matt Smith, and Wright co-wrote it with Krysty Wilson-Cairns, who scribed the final season of Penny Dreadful and Sam Mendes’ upcoming World War One Drama 1917.
Meanwhile Wright has previously compared in to the classic horror films Don’t Look Now and Repulsion, while also insisting that it would be a love letter to central London, specifically Soho.

We’re not even sure when Last Night In Soho is due to be released, but with production now underway we can only hope it will be at some point in 2020.
