Yahoo Movies Disney+ launch hit with technical issues as demand 'exceeds high expectations'
Disney's streaming service Disney+ launched in the US today, however, its big debut was blighted by errors according to users.
The company have responded to the problems explaining they were down to an unexpected demand for the service.
“The consumer demand for Disney+ has exceeded our high expectations," Disney said in a statement to CNN.
"We are pleased by this incredible response and are working to quickly resolve the current user issue. We appreciate your patience.”
Subscribers, who pay $7 per month or $70 for the whole year, shared their disappointment to Twitter as they claimed they'd been receiving error messages when trying to gain access.

One wrote: "Hope I'm getting credit for this, you should been ready for the masses.. everything is unwatchable right now,I understand it's a big new service with lots of people streaming, but you should of known.. at least say you aware of the problem and fixing it."

However, it appeared as though not everybody was receiving error messages as others delighted in the amount of content available to them.
Although, some didn’t know where to start.

The new site boasts a library of Disney classics including Pinocchio, Lady and the Tramp and Cinderella along with Pixar favourites Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc. and more.
It's also home to original content, including live action series Star Wars spinoff The Mandalorian.
The service will launch in the UK on 31 March, 2020 as the already existing DisneyLife will be rebranded to Disney+.
