Colin Firth’s Back From The Dead For Kingsman 2
He’s back – Colin Firth is filming ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’.
After his untimely death in ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, it looked as though the future of Harry Hart had been cut short. A crying shame – after all, ‘Kingsman’ saw Colin Firth at his finest, kicking ass as the gentleman spy alongside Taron Egerton.
But there have been rumours that he could return.
And now, it seems that rumours of his death have been greatly exaggerated…

‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ actor Pedro Pascal was on set over the weekend… and couldn’t resist taking a quick Instagram snap with returning star, Colin Firth.
“Hide behind Harry,” he says, as the picture depicts him looking over Colin Firth’s shoulder. “#SafePlace #Kingsman2 #TheGoldenCircle”.
Does this mean that Harry Hart survived?
We’ve already had plenty of hints that Harry’s death might not be quite what it seemed… including a rather obvious poster featuring his glasses with the iconic line, “reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated”.
Not so much a hint as a full-blown confirmation.
And let’s face it – Firth’s return was sort-of inevitable. Director Matthew Vaughn was so pleased with Colin Firth’s performance, that he’s admitted (several times) that he was trying to find a way to bring him back.
But while details of Colin Firth’s role remain under wraps, it looks incredibly likely that this is more than just a flashback… and we’ll probably see Harry and Eggsy team up once more.
And that’s definitely a good thing.
‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ stars Taron Egerton as Eggsy with mark Strong as Merlin. Colin Firth returns as Harry Hart alongside Channing Tatum, Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry, Vinny Jones and inexplicably, Sir Elton John.
Matthew Vaughn returns to direct, based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Jane Goldman.
‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ heads to cinemas on 16 June 2017.
