Charlize Theron calls out French TV host for kissing interpreter without permission
Charlize Theron taught a French television host a valuable lesson on live television earlier this week, when she called him out for inappropriately kissing her interpreter without her permission.
Theron was appearing on the show Touche pas à mon poste alongside her Long Shot co-star Seth Rogen when the presenter Cyril Hanouna seemingly beckoned an interpreter over and then gave her a kiss on the cheek without asking.

This provoked shock from both Rogen and Theron, who then said to Hanouna, “Wow! That was very – OK. Maybe ask next time?” Hanouna immediately looked embarrassed after being admonished by Theron. You can check out the clip below.

The clip quickly started to gain traction online, with viewers and interpreters themselves praising Theron for highlighting the presenter’s antics.
Being an interpreter and a woman, I really appreciate what Charlize Theron (@CharlizeAfrica) said when the TV host kissed her interpreter out of the blue. 👏https://t.co/NrKqAEuwLK#1nt

.@Cyrilhanouna kissed a girl, @CharlizeAfrica underligned that the girl didn’t give her prior consent and all he does is asking the girl if she was titillated (“émoustillée”). No, she was disgusted, objectified and infantilized on TV by you, effing stupid clown. https://t.co/YweKxHxrue

Soooo I’m just wondering but when will @Cyrilhanouna be fired from #TPMP or when will his show be cancelled?!?!? Because the fact that @CharlizeAfrica had to let him know how consent works just baffles me … but tbh he has been called out for disgusting behavior before …
