The singer and her brother Finneas O'Connell previously won for No Time to Die
Billie Eilish has made history as the youngest person to win two Oscars following her and her brother Finneas O'Connell's win for Best Original Song.
The singer, 22, won the prize alongside her brother for their Barbie ballad What Was I Made For, which competed against I'm Just Ken amongst other songs. The award was given to Eilish and her brother, who is known professionally as Finneas, by Wicked co-stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Eilish was overwhelmed by the win, bursting into laughter and admitting she was "not expecting this". She thanked director Greta Gerwig for choosing to work with her and her brother, sharing her appreciation for "this song, this movie, and the way it made me feel".
In an amusing turn of events, the singer thanked her best friend for "playing Barbies with me" and even joked about her choir teachers including the one who "didn't like" her. The pair previously won the same award in 2022 for the No Time to Die theme song for the Bond film of the same name.
As well as win big at the awards ceremony, Eilish and her brother also performed their song onstage to much acclaim from both the audience and viewers at home.
The record for the youngest two-time Oscar winner was previously held by Luise Rainer, who won Best Actress for The Great Ziegfeld and The Good Earth in 1937 and 1938, respectively. The actor was 28 at the time of her win, and became the first person to win back-to-back in the leading actor category.
There are only a handful of people who have won two Oscars in the history of the academy awards, as well as Rainer this includes Jodie Foster —who won for The Accused and The Silence of the Lambs— and Hilary Swank for Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby.
While Eilish is now the youngest two-time Oscar winner she is not the youngest ever winner at the Academy Awards, that record is still held by Tatum O'Neal who won for her performance as Addie Loggins in Paper Moon in 1974 at the age of 10.
Quvenzhané Wallis became the youngest nominee in the Best Actress category for her performance in Beasts of the Southern Wild in 2012, she was nine-years-old at the time. And in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category the youngest nominee in Oscars history is Justin Henry who was nominated in 1979 at the age of eight for his performance in Kramer vs Kramer.
