All the Disney Investor Marvel movie announcements: From 'Fantastic Four' to 'Ant-Man 3'
Disney's bewildering dump of new movie release news is massively more extensive than anyone could have imagined.
Coming via the Disney Investor Day, delivered in a four-hour webcast, earnings projections and bottom lines played second fiddle to new Marvel and Star Wars projects as a host of movies and TV shows were unveiled.

And here's a rundown of the biggest Marvel movie events coming from the Mouse House over the next few years...
Fantastic Four
Now that Disney owns Fox, the Fantastic Four will be back in the Marvel movie fold, with Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts behind the camera.

Captain Marvel 2
Though it's been delayed to November, 2022, Brie Larson will be back as the all-powerful Captain Marvel, joined by Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris’ as Monica Rambeau, aka Photon. Nia DaCosta will direct.
Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers in Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel 2, directed by Nia DaCosta. Joining the cast are recently announced Ms. Marvel, Iman Vellani, and Monica Rambeau played by WandaVision's Teyonah Parris.

Christian Bale in Thor: Love and Thunder
It had been rumoured Bale was to play Beta Ray Bill or Minotaur, but he will actually be playing Gorr The God Butcher, which sounds quite, quite charming.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily will be back as Ant-Man and The Wasp, but joined by Kathryn Newton, playing Cassie Lang, Scott Lang's daughter and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
Peyton Reed is back to direct the third Ant-Man film, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer all return. Kathryn Newton joins the cast as Cassie Lang and Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. pic.twitter.com/opXw1cmpFj

Black Panther won't be recast
Kevin Feige confirmed that the role of Black Panther won't be getting recast for Black Panther 2, following the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman in August, but Ryan Coogler will be back to direct.
Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness
Meanwhile, it's been confirmed that the Sam Raimi-directed movie will link up with both Marvel series WandaVision and the next Spider-Man movie, while Xochitl Gomez is to take on the role of America Chavez, also known as Miss America, Marvel's first Latin-American LGBTQ character.
