21 Jump Street sequel announced
Sony will be heading back to high school for comedy crime caper
Sony has confirmed that it's plotting a sequel to its 2012 comedy hit '21 Jump Street'.
The studio had hinted last summer that a second film was in the offing, but now it appears as part of its 2014 slate.

Filming is set to begin in September.
It's thought that both Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum will return in their roles as undercover police officers who target crime in high schools and colleges.
Dave Franco, younger brother of James Franco, has also said that he's heard there is role in the sequel for him, according to Collider.
Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller took on the first film, which grossed $201 million (£132 million), and are currently helming the anticipated Lego movie, 'Lego: The Piece of Resistance'.
It's not yet known whether they'll be back for the second bout.
The first film was based on the 80s TV series created by 'A-Team' and 'Rockford Files' writer Stephen J. Cannell, and was the launching pad for Johnny Depp's acting career.
