Zach Edey doesn't use ladder to cut down net, hands piece to former Purdue coach Gene Keady
At 7-4, Zach Edey didn't need a ladder to cut down a piece of the net as Purdue clinched its first Final Four berth since 1980. Edey also didn't use a ladder during Big Ten title net-cutting moments.
But on Sunday, after cutting down his piece of the net, the Boilermakers All-American walked over and handed a piece to former Purdue coach Gene Keady, who never reached a Final Four during his Hall of Fame career.
