Xavier forward Lassina Traore suffers season-ending knee injury
Xavier forward Lassina Traore will miss the entire 2024-25 season with a knee injury he suffered in practice Oct. 9, according to head coach Sean Miller.
Miller announced the news on social media Monday morning.
Last Wednesday, Lassina Traore suffered a season ending knee injury in our practice.

Injuries continue to take its toll in Xavier's frontcourt. Last season, the Musketeers were without Zach Freemantle (foot) and Jerome Hunter (Achilles) for the entire year.

Traore, a Long Beach State transfer who averaged a double-double per game last season, was part of a revamped unit down low that included the return of Freemantle and Hunter along with transfers John Hugley IV and Cam Fletcher.
