COLUMBIA — After dominating the 2024 WNBA season since the moment it started, A'ja Wilson now turns to the All-Star game.

Wilson, a star forward for the Las Vegas Aces, will join two other former South Carolina women's basketball players in the All-Star game on Saturday (8:30 p.m., ABC) at the Footprint Center in Phoenix. Aliyah Boston of the Indiana Fever and Allisha Gray of the Atlanta Dream will play for Team WNBA. Wilson joins the U.S. team, composed of 2024 Olympians.

Wilson will soon switch focus to the Olympics in Paris.

Wilson is averaging a league best 27.2 points per game, 12 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game. On July 8, she became the Aces' all-time leading scorer, when she passed Sophia Young-Malcolm's total of 4,300.

Not long after, Wilson had her first 20-20 game in her career, scoring 24 points and pulling down a career-high 20 rebounds against the Seattle Storm.

On Tuesday, facing former Gamecocks center Kamilla Cardoso and the Chicago Sky, Wilson had 28 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks and three steals in a 93-85 loss to the Sky.
