Former South Carolina basketball star A'ja Wilson has first 20-20 game of WNBA career
Former South Carolina women's basketball star A'ja Wilson followed up an eventful Wednesday morning by setting a career high for rebounds with 20, just hours after it was announced that she would be on the cover of the NBA 2K25.
Wilson's 24 points carried the Las Vegas Aces to a 84-79 road victory over the Seattle Storm at Climate Pledge Arena.
For Wilson, it beat her previous record of 16 rebounds and was her first 20-20 game in her career. She added four blocks, two assists and three steals. In WNBA history, only 23 players have had 20 or more rebounds in a single game according to WNBA reference.
