Why Titans' Will Levis was wearing Predators jersey in front of Connor Bedard
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis switched uniforms Tuesday, when he pledged his allegiance to the Nashville Predators.
Levis was joined by rookie offensive lineman Peter Skoronski and tight end Josh Whyle in front-row seats behind the glass, across the bridge from their team's field at Bridgestone Arena. They were there to watch Nashville face Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks.
Levis was decked out in a Predators jersey bearing his No. 8, which prompted the TV broadcast team to joke about whether he was wearing that number because he is a fan of Cody Glass, who wears the same number.
Levis rose to his feet and pumped his fists when his presence was announced by PA announcer Paul McCann and by the giant screens above the ice during the first period.
Their appearance occurred on the same day that Titans coach Mike Vrabel expressed frustration with his team's struggles and said of losing: "It (expletive) sucks."
Titans have been known to make appearances at Bridgestone Arena for Predators games.

Former offensive lineman Taylor Lewan famously chugged a beer while shirtless during one game and joined former goalie Pekka Rinne on the ice for another.
Antioch native and musician Jelly Roll also was in attendance.
