Where do the Panthers stand in NFL power rankings heading into Week 10?
The Carolina Panthers pulled off one of the most improbable wins this past weekend. Despite being thoroughly bested in the box score by the visiting New Orleans Saints, the cats came out with a 23-22 victory.
So, where has the triumph left the Panthers in the grand scheme of things?
Here's where they stand across the power rankings heading into Week 10:

Take: "They're starting to build just a little bit of momentum with sophomore QB Bryce Young – even while stripping down the wideout corps after trading Johnson and Mingo – but could get a jolt if rookie RB Jonathon Brooks is activated this week, as expected. What more could the NFL fans in Munich ask for?"

Take: "Who knows how the Bryce Young story will turn out in Carolina? Sunday was a small victory for the beleaguered quarterback. Even with some miscues, last year's No. 1 overall pick delivered down the stretch for the Panthers in his first win as starting QB since last December. The well-comported Young even showed some rare on-field fire, appearing miffed at head coach Dave Canales’ conservative play-calling at one point prior to leading the game-winning drive in the final minutes. Young deserves the start this Sunday in Germany against the Giants, and the Panthers can figure out after that game how they’ll proceed at the position. If Young struggles overseas, maybe he heads back to the bench. But he did enough Sunday, even against a down-and-out Saints club, to earn another start. Carolina needs to keep investing in Young, even if there’s already a massive sunk cost. "

Take (on team's most important game remaining): "Any momentum the Panthers gained from Sunday's win against the undermanned Saints will be wasted if they can't follow it up with a win against the 2-7 Giants. The rest of the schedule is tough with the Chiefs, Buccaneers and Eagles before the next possible winnable game against the 3-5 Cowboys. Then they close against the hot Cardinals, Buccaneers and Falcons. To make any kind of a run, it has to start now."

Take: "The Panthers got outgained 427-246 yards but pulled off a 23-22 win in the final two minutes. Three of the four Panthers wins in the past two seasons have come by 2, 2 and 1 points. The Panthers aren’t going to be apologetic about any win."
