Where is 'College GameDay' this week? Location, schedule, guest picker for Week 0 on ESPN
ESPN's "College GameDay" is going international.
For the first time in its history, "GameDay" is traveling to Dublin to kick off the 2024 college football season as Florida State takes on Georgia Tech in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic. The show was originally supposed to be on-site for Notre Dame-Navy in 2020, but the game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Seminoles and Yellow Jackets are squaring off against each other for the first time since 2022.

The Seminoles, coming off a 13-1 season in which they missed out on the College Football Playoff, have a new starting quarterback for the first time since 2021, as Jordan Travis was drafted by the New York Jets in April's NFL draft. FSU will go with former ACC and Oregon State quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei, a year after he threw for a career-high 2,638 passing yards with 21 passing touchdowns with the Beavers.
As for the Yellow Jackets, Brent Key's squad is coming off a 7-6 overall season (5-3 in ACC play) in 2023. Going up against Uiagalelei in the quarterback matchup will be 6-foot-3 redshirt junior quarterback Haynes King, who was one of only two Power Five players last season to finish with at least 2,800 passing yards, 25 touchdown passes, 700 rushing yards and 10 touchdown runs.
