What's going on with Tee Higgins? Bengals wide receiver doubtful, other players injured

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins didn't practie on Friday and is now listed as doubtful to play against the New England Patriots on Sunday. Head coach Zac Taylor said Higgins "tweaked" his hamstring in pracatice on Thursday.

Higgins has a history of hamstring injuries in his career as a football player dating back to his days at Clemson. This injury comes after a full six weeks of training camp practice where Higgins was closely managed in hopes he could get to Week 1 fully healthy.

Depending on what Ja'Marr Chase decides to do, the Bengals could be without both of their top receivers on Sunday if Chase and Higgins don't play. On Friday, Chase said it will be a "game-time" decision as far if he decides to play. Chase is seeking a new deal from the Bengals and believes the two sides are "close" to making it happen. The Bengals listed Chase as questionable to play on the final injury report.

Rookies Amarius Mims (pectoral) and Kris Jenkins (thumb) are ruled out from Sunday's contest.
