The Tigers got one. Now, can they start a run?

Missouri basketball will play its third game of the 2024-25 season Monday evening, when it faces Eastern Washington at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. Mizzou won its first game this calendar year by beating Howard on Friday after losing its previous 20 matchups dating back to last season.

The Tigers, led by third-year head coach Dennis Gates, lost their opener at Memphis before knocking off Howard to even up their record. Missouri has not won back-to-back games since beating Pittsburgh on Nov. 28 and Wichita State on Dec. 3 in 2023.
