COLUMBIA — South Carolina women's basketball center and now WNBA rookie Kamilla Cardoso is one of three athletes featured in ESPN+'s new series, "Full Court Press," which premieres Saturday on ABC.
The first two episodes will air on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and the last two episodes air on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. All episodes will be available to stream afterwards on ESPN+.
The series follows the journey of Cardoso, Iowa's Caitlin Clark and UCLA's Kiki Rice throughout the 2023-24 college basketball season, including the Gamecocks national championship win over the Hawkeyes on April 7. The series will have exclusive footage from the title game, along with details from Clark's record-breaking season, and the 2024 WNBA draft.
"There were high expectations on (Cardoso) stepping in for former national player of the year Aliyah Boston, and she’s delivered, leading the team to a perfect regular season, and hitting her first career 3-pointer vs Tennessee in the SEC tournament semifinals," ESPN's press release said of Cardoso.
