(This story was updated to add new information.)

Lafayette Parish and its surrounding areas voted and the first Daily Advertiser Athlete of the Week for the month of November is Charli Boulet of Teurlings Catholic girls' volleyball. In an online poll that closed on Friday, Boulet received close to 57% of votes cast for a total of 2,119 votes.

The senior outside hitter earned the recognition after leading her team to a regular season victory over Lafayette Christian Academy on Oct. 31. Boulet carried that success over to the postseason when her team hosted Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy on Nov. 6 for the Bi-District Division II matchup.

Boulet led the Rebels' offense finishing the night with 13 kills averaging 4.3 kills per set. She also finished the match with a block and two digs leading her team to a first-round playoff win beating the Tigers 3-0. She is currently averaging a team-high 3.1 kills per set racking up a whopping 306 kills. With her leading Teurlings offense, the Rebels are looking to make a deep run in the state tournament.
