‘Viva Chiefs Kingdom’: Chiefs to release first all-Spanish docuseries

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Thursday, July 25 that they’ll be releasing a two-part docuseries following Chiefs fans in Mexico during the team’s most recent Super Bowl victory season. The team says the docuseries will be available to watch on the Chiefs’ YouTube channel on Saturday, July 27 at 6 p.m.

The project is part of the Chiefs’ efforts to grow both their brand and football on an international level. “Viva Chiefs Kingdom” is the first all-Spanish long form content from the Chiefs, and is focused on the deep connection between the Kansas City team and their fans south of the border.

“We are excited to debut “Viva Chiefs Kingdom” to a global audience on our YouTube channel this weekend and feature many of our great fans from Mexico as part of the show,” Chiefs EVP and Chief Marketing Officer Lara Krug said.

“As our international brand and social footprint continue to grow in Mexico and beyond, special projects and storytelling opportunities like this allow us to pay tribute to the passion and dedication of our supporters from all corners of Chiefs Kingdom.”

The docuseries has already aired on FOX Sports Mexico on July 13 and July 20. The Chiefs and FOX Sports Mexico also hosted an in-person premiere at Cinepolis in Mexico City on July 9.
