Utah HC Gameday: Andre Tourigny Happy To Be Home

Eleven days between home games is an eternity in the National Hockey League.

So when Andre Tourigny said after morning skate Saturday he's excited to have the home fans behind the Utah Hockey Club again at Delta Center, you can tell he means it.

But the message to keep building that energy remains clear, especially heading into tonight's showdown with the Boston Bruins.

"The chemistry between those guys is elite," Tourigny said of the Bruins. "We all know how (David) Pastrnak can shoot, we all know how tenacious Marchy (Brad Marchand) is, so we have a ton of respect for them."

It'll also be a stiff test for a shorthanded defence already down Sean Durzi, possibly for the rest of the season, and especially with Robert Bortuzzo playing with a gash on the back of his left leg suffered against Anaheim after being cut by a skate.

There's no shortage of confidence in the locker room, though; Tourigny said the team will give it all they have to shut down the mighty Bruins this evening.

"I've never seen a team dominate for 60 minutes," he said. "It's a game of mistakes. You will make them and the other team will take advantage, but that doesn't mean you're not playing well."
