Updating LSU rankings in college football polls after Week 9 loss at Texas A&M

LSU football was outscored 31 to 6 en route to a head-spinning 38-23 loss at Texas A&M Saturday night.

The Tigers had won six straight games before the defeat to the Aggies and their defense had been playing lights out. But A&M switched quarterbacks from Conner Weigman to Marcel Reed and the freshman led his team to four straight scoring drives to down LSU.

LSU (6-2, 3-1 SEC) now has a loss in SEC play and is tied for third in the conference standings with Texas and Tennessee.
