Tua Tagovailoa concussion: Players react to former Alabama football QB's injury vs Bills

Former Alabama football quarterback Tua Tagovailoa exited "Thursday Night Football" after suffering a concussion in the third quarter of the Miami Dolphins' game against the Buffalo Bills.

The concussion is the third confirmed of his NFL career, all of which have come since the 2022 NFL season.

Tagovailoa sustained the injury late in the third quarter after scrambling for a first down on fourth-and-4, ramming his helmet into Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin. He then exited the game under his own power and headed to the locker room without his helmet.

The former Heisman Trophy runner-up, who signed a four-year contract extension worth $212.5 million in the offseason, completed 17 of 25 passes for 145 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions at the time of the injury.
