IHSA STATE FINALS: Predicting the Illinois boys basketball state champions
Lathan Sommerville, Richwoods
The state No. 3 prospect according to 247sports.com has signed with Rutgers of the Big Ten Conference. The 6-foot-10 senior averages 24.6 points and 12.3 rebounds for the No. 8 team in Class 3A. He is the son of former Bradley player Marcellus Sommerville.
Angelo Ciaravino, Chicago Mount Carmel
The No. 5-ranked prospect in Illinois according to 247sports.com is committed to Northwestern of the Big Ten. The 6-foot-6 senior averages 21.0 points per game for the No. 6 team in Class 3A.
Gianni Cobb, Homewood-Flossmoor
The 6-foot senior guard has committed to Columbia of the Ivy League. He averages 15.1 points and 3.4 assists per game for the No. 2-ranked team in Class 4A.
Jaheem Webber, Normal Community
The 6-foot-10 senior forward, ranked No. 8 statewide by 247sports.com, committed to Wright State of the Horizon League after multiple offers from Missouri Valley Conference schools. He averages 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for the No. 6 team in Class 4A.

Docker Tedeschi, Benton
