Two scoring passes go to Wes Welker in his first game in Miami after being traded by the Dolphins. “I thought our team played well offensively,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick says, in case anyone is unsure.

Brady becomes has a modest performance (19-of-24, 153 yards, one TD) as New England rolls 41-14. But the game is meaningful because Brady records his 100th win in his 131st regular-season game, becoming the fastest QB to do so, surpassing Joe Montana (139). The Patriots trail by a point at halftime before returning the second-half kickoff for a score. That’s when the Patriots tweet, "Where's everyone going? 'The party' is just getting started at Sun Life Stadium.”

Sept. 12, 2011: Career-high 517 yards to shred Dolphins' D

Brady lights up Miami’s defense for a career-high 517 yards, going 32-of-48 for four touchdowns, in a 38-24 win on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. One score goes for 99 yards to Welker as the Patriots pile up 622 yards.

Dec. 5, 2013 Who? 'No. 31' Michael Thomas foils TB12

Safety Michael Thomas, just signed off the 49ers’ practice squad, intercepts Brady in the end zone to foil a late Patriots comeback attempt in a 24-20 Dolphins win. Thomas is so new to Miami that some teammates know him only as “Number 31.”
