CLEMSON — Clemson basketball is on the doorstep of making its first Final Four.
The sixth-seeded Tigers (24-11) will have to go through No. 4 seed Alabama (24-11) on Saturday (8:49 p.m. ET, TBS/truTV) at Crypto.com Arena in their second Elite Eight appearance in program history.
Alabama upset No. 1 seed North Carolina 89-87 to reach the Elite Eight for the first time since 2004.

Clemson made the NCAA Tournament for the 14th time in program history this season. It defeated No. 11 seed New Mexico, No. 3 seed Baylor and No. 2 seed Arizona to advance to the NCAA West regional final.
Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide beat No. 13 seed Charleston, No. 12 seed Grand Canyon and UNC to reach the Elite Eight. This is the first time these schools will face each other in the NCAA Tournament.
The winner will face the winner of No. 1 UConn and No. 3 Illinois in the Final Four in Phoenix on April 6.
