Majors was the highest-graded offensive lineman and is the second straight Texas offensive lineman to be recognized with the award. Michigan fielded All-American Mason Graham and All-Big Ten honoree Kenneth Grant vs. Texas, but the pair didn't record a sack or a quarterback pressure.

"He's just, he's played a ton of football," Sarkisian said in Monday's press conference.

"I think the respect he garners not only from the other four offensive lineman but from the team, because of the way he goes about his business, not only on the field, but off the field. So I think all of that adds up to He's a great leader on our team."
