Oh, how the tables have turned. The curse of the Terrible Towel appears to be in full force, working its terrible magic in the shadows, destroying the Jacksonville Jaguars from within.

All the way back during the 2023 regular season's Week 8 game, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were 5-2 at the time, took on the 4-2 Steelers in Pittsburgh. It seemed like just any ordinary 2023 Steelers game—an inability to score on offense, poor play calling, etc. That was until Jaguars safety Andrew Wingard intercepted an ugly throw by Mitch Trubisky. The visiting Jaguars celebrated by stealing a few Terrible Towels and waving them around in mockery.

It is safe to say, like with all the other curses, Pittsburgh has gotten the last laugh. The Jacksonville Jaguars were primed for big things, both at the end of the 2023 season and the beginning of this season, but they have plummeted, losing 9 out of 12 games since.

The Jaguars were crushed in this week's Monday Night doubleheader against the Buffalo Bills, 47-10, with their record moving to 0-3 on the season.
