Tennessee Titans trade 7th-round pick in 2024 NFL Draft to Browns for lineman Leroy Watson
The Tennessee Titans have traded one of their three seventh-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns to acquire offensive lineman Leroy Watson.
Watson has appeared in seven NFL games across two professional seasons with zero starts. A college tight end who caught 25 passes at Texas-San Antonio, he played for new Titans offensive line coach Bill Callahan in Cleveland last year and spent the 2022 season on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad when Titans GM Ran Carthon was a member of the 49ers' staff.
The Titans traded pick No. 227, the earliest of their three seventh-rounders in 2024, to get Watson. The team still has picks No. 242 and No. 252 in the seventh round, along with picks in the first, second, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds.
Watson is the third offensive lineman the Titans have acquired this offseason, along with center Lloyd Cushenberry and guard Saahdiq Charles, both of whom signed in free agency.
The three-day NFL draft begins April 25 and is being held in Detroit.
