Talladega Superspeedway unveils logo redesign ahead of 2024 race season

Talladega Superspeedway announced a new logo design package, ahead of the 2024 race season.

The historic east Alabama track will again host two race weekends, one in the spring and the other in the fall. The track itself isn't going to change but fans will see new logos that the track hopes to enhance the track's brand.

“Talladega Superspeedway has always been known for providing intense racing and the evolution of our logos reflect our history well,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Brian Crichton. “The new logo will display our passion for edge-of-your-seat racing while honoring the tradition and legacy of all those who helped shape what Talladega has become today.”

The new logo features an outline of the 2.66-mile track, the longest oval on the NASCAR schedule. The words Talladega Superspeedway are in red and grey with the rest of the logo in differing shades of black. The to As in Talladega have a line through them to highlight "the speed of the track, where winners are determined by razor thin margins," according to a press release.

Two former Talladega winners were on hand, David Ragan and Red Farmer, a member of the "Alabama Gang", to help unveil the new logo. Local NASCAR Truck series racer Bret Holmes was also on hand.

The spring Talladega weekend kicks off on Saturday, April 20 with the NASCAR Cup Series race slated for April 21.
