Sunday night's battle at Highmark Stadium seemed to take forever to get going. When it finally did, though, the wait was worth it.

The Buffalo Bills scored the game's only two touchdowns in the fourth quarter on Sunday to put the New York Giants away and take the 14-9 win. The win followed what was a rough showing last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

The win, however, nearly fell apart on the final play. After the Giants got all the way down to the one-yard line after drawing a pass interference at the end zone, the Bills broke up a pass on the final untimed down to sneak out the five-point win.

The Giants held a 6-0 lead at halftime, and somehow failed to punch in a one-yard touchdown run just before the break. It wasn't until the the fourth quarter, following a large fight in the end zone that somehow didn't result in anything more than offsetting penalties, that we saw a touchdown.

The Bills punched in a three-yard touchdown pass to Deonte Harty to cap a 17-play, almost 10 minute drive on the first play of the fourth quarter. That gave the Bills a 7-6 lead. Though the Giants marched right down the field on the next drive, they settled for a field goal despite looking at fourth-and-inches in the red zone. That gave them the lead once again.

That field goal decision didn't pay off. Bills quarterback Josh Allen got them right back down the field and somehow found Quintin Morris for his first catch of the season to put Buffalo right back in control.

The Giants got one last chance after a miss Buffalo field goal, which set up the final drive and second goal line stand of the day.

Tyrod Taylor, who was playing for the injured Daniel Jones, went 24-of-36 for 200 yards in the loss for the Giants. Saquon Barkley had 93 rushing yards on 24 carries, and Darius Slayton had 69 receiving yards on four catches. The Giants have now lost four straight and five of six to start the year.

Allen finished throwing 19-of-30 for 169 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in the win for Buffalo. James Cook had 71 yards on 14 carries on the ground, and Stefon Diggs had 100 receiving yards on 10 catches.

Bills running back Damien Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance in the first half after a scary neck injury. He gave a thumbs up to the crowd, and the Bills said he had movement in both his arms and legs as he was on the way to the hospital, which is a good sign. Specifics about his injury, however, are not yet known.
