It wasn't pretty but it's what we have come to expect from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh came out and despite some significant struggles on offense to beat the Atlanta Falcons 18-10 and start the season 1-0. The game was carried by a handful of big plays made by some big players while other players really fell flat.

Here are our studs and duds from Week One.

Stud - K Chris Boswell

Kicker Chris Boswell accounted for all 18 of the Steelers points. He hit all six of his field goal tries with three of them over 50 yards. Boswell also nailed a 43-yard punt after Cameron Johnston went out with an injury.

Dud - QB Justin Fields

Sunday was Justin Fields' opportunity to steal the starting quarterback job for good from Russell Wilson but he aside from a few players had a very lackluster performance.

Stud - EDGE T.J. Watt

Sometimes it feels like Watt's Hall of Fame career is being squandered in Pittsburgh without any playoff success. Watt dominated on Sunday and if not for two strip sacks called back by penalties, would have been even bigger.

Dud - LB Patrick Queen

The debut of Patrick Queen with the Steelers wasn't very inspiring. Queen finished with only two tackles and seemed to be out of position on many run plays.

Stud - WR George Pickens

The one bright spot on offense was wide receiver George Pickens. Pickens was targeted seven times and he caught six for 85 yards.
