Steelers work out a tandem of safeties
According to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the Pittsburgh Steelers worked out a pair of free-agent safeties this week. According to Wilson, Pittsburgh worked out Marquise Blair and Eric Rowe.
Blair is in his fifth NFL season. He spent most of his career with the Seattle Seahawks but was with the Carolina Panthers in 2022. Blair missed all of 2023 with a designation of NFI.
Rowe is a former second-round pick and is in his 10th NFL season. Rowe was on the Steelers roster in 2023 and appeared in three games, all starts.
The Steelers currently sit at 7-2 and in first place in the AFC North. Pittsburgh is preparing to take on the Baltimore Ravens at home in Week 11.
