In order to ensure victory against the Denver Broncos this Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will need to focus on these keys aspects for a successful offensive gameplan.

Pass the football to open up the run

Year in and year out, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense has remained pretty predictable. If the Steelers want to open up the run this Sunday against Denver, they will need to pass the football first.

Give Justin Fields a clean pocket

Justin Fields has struggled in the past to make the correct reads, and if Justin Fields is to be anything more than a product of his elite rushing ability, he will need some time upright to throw the football.

Get Freiermuth the football

Pickens was given the chance last week to excel. Now, it’s time for Pittsburgh’s true number two receiving threat to help take the pressure off of Pickens alone.

Use Calvin Austin to get George Pickens 1-on-1 matchups

Calvin Austin is one of the fastest players in all of football. His mere presence alone can take safeties off other players, and the Steelers can use this to get Pickens alone with Broncos' star CB Patrick Surtain.

Do not get complacent on play-calling

The idea of a trap game is something that Steelers fans and players have grown to despise. The Pittsburgh Steelers will need to call plays with the idea of scoring sixes, and not relying on the defense to carry the game script.
