Steelers fans react: Demand for Roman Wilson is strong

While the battle for the starting quarterback position appears to be heating back up, there seems to be no competition for the second wide receiver position, and there is a rather simple reason for that: their second-best WR hasn't debuted yet.

I am, of course, talking about the 2024 rookie third-rounder out of Michigan, WR Roman Wilson. Wilson was turning heads throughout training camp before an unfortunate ankle injury put him on the shelf for several months.

The dynamic receiver progressed nicely, however, practicing in full for consecutive weeks and carrying no injury designation for two straight games.

Furthermore, his improved health begs the golden question that exists in everyone's minds: 'Where is Roman Wilson?’

Mike Tomlin, like he usually does, offered up a poor metaphor that not only doesn't tell the whole story, but shifts the blame off of the coaching staff: 'It is very difficult to get on a moving train.'

Here are some of the best reactions from fans eagerly anticipating Wilson's arrival on an offense that is sorely missing a solid WR2 presence:
