What's the deal with Steelers rookie WR Roman Wilson?

Where art thou, Roman Wilson? The debut of the Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver has been delayed no thanks to an ankle injury sustained in training camp. After starting the season limited, Wilson progressed as a full practice participant for the last two weeks. Still, the Steelers designated him inactive.

For the first time this season, there's no sign of Wilson (other than Russell) on the initial injury report. Could that indicate he'll finally be inserted into the lineup versus the Cowboys, or will he be a healthy scratch?

Plugging Wilson in can't make the situation any worse, considering that Pittsburgh's pass-catchers (beyond George Pickens) are struggling. His rookie status is the only thing that could hold him back, but the best way to learn is by doing.
